‘My Cancer Treatment’ the new patient website brought to you by the National Cancer Peer Review (NCPR) Programme
My Cancer Treatment, the new website for people affected by cancer is now available at www.mycancertreatment.nhs.uk primarily designed to help inform those newly diagnosed with cancer to decide where to be treated.
All NHS patients have the right to choose where to be treated and My Cancer Treatment enabled patients to locate and compare the quality of NHS cancer services both locally and across the country. In three steps, search by location, cancer team (selected by tumour type, treatment type or clinical team) and hospital to find out about the quality of the service and compare with other NHS services.
My Cancer treatment covers all of the common tumour types and some rarer cancers. This is the only resource that provides access to detailed information about the quality of a cancer service at the hospital, specific to the team treating the tumour type.
Please visit www.mycancertreatment.nhs.uk and tell your family and friends about the site!
